Mario has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling from Northern Arizona University. He was a Director of the Student Support Services Program at Arizona Western College for ten years, and also adjunct faculty at NAU and AWC. He later became an Adult Basic Education Instructor with the Tempe Union High School District. Mario joined the team at Literacy Volunteers in the summer of 2007 and has served in many roles; Outreach Coordinator, Educational Technology Facilitator, Data Management Coordinator, Northstar Proctor and a Fast Track Instructor.
