FERPA Law Protects your Information!

The Family and Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (20 U.S. C. 1232g) (FERPA) protects your confidential information.  Unless valid consent is obtained from you or your legal guardian,  no unauthorized person gains access to any information considered confidential under FERPA.

How to Register

If you are an adult 16 years or older, not enrolled in the K-12 school system, and have a valid identification, LVMC will help you attain your educational goals.  We provide free educational services to all eligible adults who apply.

It is easy to be eligible. There is a broad list of accepted documents as valid identification.

If you are ready, please print the Form.  Fill it out by hand. Insert the form into an envelope along with a copy of the acceptable document(s) to support your eligibility. Send the envelop by certified mail.
